Patrica McCoy

About

Patricia McCoy is a designer and maker of quality handmade stoneware pottery and ceramics. She is origionally from Limerick City and started her ceramic journey in Limerick College of Art and Design. This is where she first encountered clay an introduction which has shaped the remainder of her life to date.

She has travelled and worked in potteries in London, Egypt and Italy but when she wanted to set up her studio she chose to do so in West Cork alongside many other crafts people and artists. By now she has clocked up at least 25 years experience in her life as a potter but feels she still has ground to cover as she moves on.

Patricia’s influences are far and wide and likely to come from anything that touches her life, nature or family e.g. – nature, family, art, science.
