Susan Herlihy

About

Susan is a native of East Cork. 

She began her journey into ceramics 25 years ago in Scotland. In 2006 Susan relocated back to East Cork and opened her town studio to make pots and teach.  

“I have spent most of my time outdoors feeling and understanding the rhythm of nature, exploring  the connection and disconnection of people with their natural environment, seeking permanence in an impermanent world. I dig clay from various locations to make pots and glazes giving the user the opportunity to connect with their environment in an indirect but conscious way”.
